Pretty colours for Christmas

There are two challenges looking for cards in pretty pastel colours at the moment - Christmas Card Challenges with this colour scheme



And Merry Monday who are looking for pastels in general.



These are not really colours I associate with Christmas, and you will (unless you have access to my recycling bin) never know just how many times I stamped and embossed this Christmas Tree and sentiment until I was happy with the result! Every combo of card/ink/powder I used seemed to produce a result that was so pale you couldn't see the image or so bright it had strayed too far from being a pastel. Eventually a combination of Brilliance inks and Pearlescent powders produced a result I was happy with.

And then it was such a gloomy miserable day that even with electric lighting and flash, I still ended up with gloomy shadows up one side of the card. Some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.....
