This week there are celebrations at Less is More - they are celebrations their 300th week, so of course the theme is Celebrations and Festivals. When I started my blog, I'd never heard the term CAS or realised that it was a recognised style, so I've learned a tremendous amount from Less is More over the last few years.
What could be more suitable for a celebration than a glass of champagne? I've used a magazine freebie die to cut a glass from some champagne-gold card, and also used the same card as a background. I stamped the sentiment (another magazine freebie) and then cut the top layer diagonally and trimmed a little off the bottom edge of the upper part, which I then embossed with the old favourite Cuttlebug swirls folder. To top it with the stamped and embossed layers, I sanded as much of the glitter as I could off the areas of gold that wouldn't show and stuck the layers on with lots of extra high tack adhesive tape.
And now I'll raise MY glass to Less is More - here's to many more of your inspiring challenges!
SMASHING make and so classy too
