It's conker time!

Here in the UK, Autumn has come very suddenly this year. It seems like only a few days since the trees were green yet now the leaves are changing colour and falling, and beautiful glossy conkers are lying on the ground under the horse chestnuts. I don't think I'll ever grow out of the joy of kicking a pile of leaves into the air, or picking up a shiny conker!

So my trusty horse chestnut leaf stamp has come out to play,  along with some chestnut stamps that I've had for years and have never seen ink, in fact the rubber was still uncut. I can't think why! I stamped the leaves with a Kaleidacolour pad and the chestnuts in brown, heat embossed to give them an authentic glossy look.
