Organic at Twofers

It's New Challenge day at Twofers and it's Zoe's turn to choose our theme - the theme she has chosen is

ORGANIC
 
so we're looking for a design that has grown organically, rather then being carefully planned and structured. But being a foodie, and with a veg-growing husband, I couldn't leave it at that, I had to bring in the idea of organic veg too! So here is my card - I used the Hero Arts Stamp Your Own Salad stamp set, stamping and masking the sentiment and then stamping the veg at random over the card and letting the design build itself by starting off with the bigger images such as the carrots and onions and then filling the gaps with tomatoes and finally beans. A few stipples of brown ink, applied with a stiff-bristled paintbrush, suggest the earth around the plants without making a heavy background.

    I love this card Jane. The veggie's are a great set. I particularly like the tomatoes! The sentiment is really good and two peas in a pod springs to mind. Barbxx
