Some time ago, my granddaughter and I worked out a design for a cupcake card and today I decided to recreate it.
The base card is a 4" square card. I die cut a scalloped circle from pink card and cut it in half, then embossed it with a swirly folder. I added some pink Wink of Stella to the swirls and attached the "icing" towards the top of the card, positioning it so there was still plenty card to form the hinge. I cut around the scallops and then trimmed the lower part of the card to a cupcake shape. I covered this with paper that had been cut along the top with fancy-edged scissors (something else due for a comeback? ) and topped the cake with a die cut circle and leaves to look like a cherry and angelica.
