And more snow....

While I was in the mood for snow, I lifted out a very old set of Hero Arts snowflake stamps and had a rummage through my snippets box for scraps in wintery shades of lilac and aqua to go with the pens I'd chosen to colour the images with.

The circles are die cut with Nestabilities, and I used an old pair of fancy scissors to give a matching  scalloped edge for the border. The sentiment, yet another very old stamp whose origin is lost in the mists of time,  was stamped with purple Versacolor and heat embossed with a powder called Plum Pearls, and in real life is an exact image for the lilac colouring and card.

  1. Gorgeous work, Jane, I simply can't believe you hand cut the scalloped border, what a patient playmate you are!! I use a scalloped rectangle die for mine and move it along several times and that's tedious enough.
    Well done....
But do, take care at the Playground, think Parsnip is conducting science experiments in the treehouse, or setting crackers off not sure which one I'm keeping on the swings. :)
