By the Seaside at Cardz 4 Guyz

It's challenge time again at Cardz 4 Guyz - this week's theme is By The Seaside. We'd love to see your makes - and don't forget they need to be suitable for a man or boy.

For my card I've used a topper and papers pulled out of the freebies section of old issues of Making Cards - I think they are all from different issues. I had a sort out earlier this year and all the papers left from each issue have been put together in a single folder, so I no longer feel constrained to use them as discrete sets!

The die cut layers are done with Nestabilities and I've echoed the scallops by using fancy scissors around the outer edge. If you look at it in reverse, focussing on the blue background, it looks like a border of waves around the picture!

  1. Super card, Jane. Love the backing paper, perfect for the image. Great idea to put your freebie papers together. I know what you mean about always trying to use papers from sets together rather than mix and match. xx
