One layer cards - when I didn't need to!

This afternoon I've been playing around making one layer cards - something I tend to avoid unless I'm making them for a one layer challenge. Here are the two I made today.

The first uses the Paradise clear stamp set from Uniko. I stamped the words first, and then masked them while using Kaleidacolour pads in Birthstone and Fresh Greens plus a yellow pad to stamp the flowers and leaves. It's funny, I really bought this set for the gorgeous toucan..... guess which is the only stamp in the set that still hasn't seen ink?

Right, I'm not used to putting two cards into one post, but because they were both one layer ones it sort of made sense..... now cross your fingers for me that I link the right thumbnails to the right challenges!

  2. This is very dedicated of you, making OLCs voluntarily! Well done you. They both look fantastic, so your effort has paid off. I love the bright florals of the first card (you did make me laugh about the toucan!) and the second one is so vivid and dramatic with that gorgeous sunset strip behind the stamping. Thanks for playing along at Less is More :)
