Playing with my presents #2

... and here is the second half of my earlier post about my first attempts with the Brushos I got for Christmas. Once I'd realised I needed to use a lot less of both water and crystals with the Brushos, I was much happier with the results.

For this card I swooshed a very wide, damp paintbrush across the card in a curve and then sprinkled with clusters of purple crystals. When it was dry, I stamped a large snowflake (Hero Arts)  three times overlapping the watercolour band, using white ink, and embossed with Ranger sticky embossing poder then sprinkled with white glitter. It's much harder to see the snowflakes on the photo than it is in real life, as the camera hasn't captured the glitter. I finished it off with more snowflakes using a magazine freebie stamp set, and a stamped sentiment from Lili of the Valley.
