This little wooden cockerel is all ready to greet the dawn.....
As you can see, I'm still struggling with white balance! I'm hoping that the longer, lighter days coming soon will help me with that.
The die cut circle of linen finish card is sponged with distress inks and topped with the little wooden rooster, which is from a pack of farmyard themed wooden embellishments. I scored parallel lines on the background card and then placed a very fine gold peel off between each pair of lines, to pick up the gold of the sentiment which is a very old die cut one from my stash.
