Peg stamps again

Now I've dug out all my old peg stamps - some of them must be over 20 years old - I've got very keen on using them again.

You have no idea how many false starts I've had at making a card for the current Less is More challenge, a one layer card with the theme Curve. Just as I was starting to make my first card, I realised it was more than one layer. I made a replacement - and realised there was nothing curved on it. The part-made cards have been set aside to complete some other time, and I finally settled on this.

I used an arch template to cut a curved mask and placed it asymmetrically on the card, then stamped various flowers and leaves using my Rubberstamp Tapestry peg stamps. I used a fine marker pen to emphasise the edge of the curve and then stamped the sentiment, a recent Making Cards mag freebie, in the "dip" of the curve.

I am also sharing this with Use Your Stuff - Flowers

  1. Fabulous job with those peg stamps. I'm not sure I could make a one layer card they are so hard.
