Lazybones

Summer is a time for fun in the sun. And if you were to ask a cat what its idea of fun in the sun would be, it would say "Sleeping".


I've used a selection of old unmounted stamps from grab bags for this card - the sand, the shell border and the lovely little kitty lazing in his deckchair. I coloured everything with pencils, using watercolour pencils for the sea and sky and blending them with an almost-dry brush.

    Oh, I know this kitten, Jane! You're so correct about a cat's choice of 'fun in the sun.' lol Fab coloring on the sea and sky. Loving the seashells.

    Lovely fun card Jane. It reminds me of a holiday in Cyprus a few years ago. Lots of cats around the hotel and they could be found snoozing on the sun beds under the umbrellas in the afternoon.

    Oh, such a fabulous card. The kitten is super sweet. My kitties are all just sprawled out on the kitchen tiles - it has gone up to 34 degrees here today .... phew !!
