Dad's tool shed

The current theme at The Male Room is texture, and I've used lots of texture on this card.

The  background is a cream woven-textured card from a DCWV stack and the "wood" panel is made by using a woodgrain stencil and embossing paste on a kraft background then sponging over it with Imagination Crafts Starlight metallic paint in brown and Alchemy Wax in copper and gold. As you can see, the paint "takes" better on the raised areas while the wax takes better in the recessed ones. which emphasises the grain of the wood.

The tools are cut with First Edition Tools dies.
