Past Times at CD Sundays

It's not only new challenge day at CD Sundays, it's also my birthday, so it seems only fitting that it's my turn to choose the theme, and I have chosen Past Times. Think retro, think vintage, think historic (what about Ancient Egypt?)  - and of course, think CD because we must see something from a CD, not a download, currently in your possession somewhere on your work.

I've used an old CD (the label says (c) 2009 ) from Hot off The press, called "5,400 Tags & Art". I don't know whether it is still available, but it is a wonderful resource that I've used many, many times over the years. All three tags and the balloon and globe embellishments came from it.

The sentiment is from Debbi Moore's CD "Shabby Chic Vintage Discovery" and the background is some tissue paper from my stash.

  3. A very different style card Jane. I couldn't help smile at the comment 'tissue paper from my stash'. That sounds like me with all the 'might come in useful' bits that I collect!
Oh and Happy Birthday for today.

  6. Happy Birthday Jane. Lovely card. The 'tissue paper from stash' made me smile. I spent a great crafting day yesterday with Sue Tossell. Sue and three others were doing mixed media works of art and quite a bit of crunpled tissue paper appeared for them to use. Saved from all sorts of places I gather. Whispering quietly - I was parching - I don't do messy.
I hope you are having a great birthday.
