Lipstick, powder and paint

I've been playing with some of the elements of the Dovecraft "Kiss and Make Up" range - they are perhaps a bit feminine for my tastes, but great for making cards for teenage girls and young women, especially those in the "Instagram generation".


I die cut the glasses and comb in both black and silver, and inlaid the black rims and highlights to the silver die cuts. The border is cut from one of the papers and I stamped some of the images and framed a couple of them with a polaroid style frame, adding lip brads and heart pins to it, then finished with ribbon, the stamped sentiment and heart shaped pearls.

Naughty or Nice - Framed (don't panic, ladies, the bits for my naughty card are already out on my workdesk and it will be along in a day or two!)

    Oh Jane, what a clever and perfectly planned card! I love the way you've used those die-cuts and the embellishments. Great background Designer Papers, too.
