I never seem to go for very long without using the old favourite Memory Box Chloe Stem die.
Today I've used watercolour to make an ombré background for it, by starting off at the bottom with the concentrated colour then gradually blending in more and more water to make it paler as I worked up the card. TIP - instead of blending the colour on your craft mat or in a palette, do it on an acrylic block resting on top of white card to give you a good idea of how the shade will look when painted onto white card.
