Light as a Feather

I've used one of my very oldest stamps on this card, a beautiful and versatile feather stamp from PSX.


First I stamped it randomly over a piece of vellum, using white Stazon ink, then used a Kaleidacolor Autumn Leaves pad to stamp it on a snippet of white card which I matted and layered with chocolate brown (which for some reason always looks black on photos) and orange snippets. 

The sentiment, a magazine freebie, is stamped with rusty brown Stazon - I find it's the ink least likely to smudge on vellum and even then it takes a few minutes to dry - and then the velum panel attached to the card using adhesive only behind the stamped images and the topper, to reduce the show through. It's hard to see the feather background on a photo but in real life it looks really effective, almost textured.
