Bleached lady

I really love this stamp but I have no idea where it originally came from - I for it in a swap of unmounted stamps with an American friend about 20 years ago. It's rather saucy actually, when you look closely you can see that the lady is starkers underneath that pretty shawl!

I stamped and heat embossed her onto red card and then used a water brush filled with bleach to remove the colour from the skin areas. The sentiment is stamped with a magazine covermount stamp from a few years ago and to add balance I added two shiny black peel-offs that have an oriental lacquer look.

I am sharing this with

The Library Challenge - Memoirs of a Geisha
Mix it Up - Bleaching
Sweet Stampin - Embossing heat or dry
