A card for Darnell

Earlier this week it was the lovely Darnell's birthday and I knew exactly what card I was going to make for her. You see, a few weeks ago I posted this card  and Darnell commented that it would make a great book cover - for a book she and I would write.

But I had another boozy sentiment to hand, one that I thought would work even better, so here we have a card that would make a perfect cover for "The Darnell and Jane Autobiography"


The image and sentiment are stamped with stamps from So Suzy and I used a deckle edge ruler for the borders.

    Oh what a wonderful silhouette, Jane! Love that you've kept the colours to white and black with a splash of red. Great sentiment! If the rest of the book can keep up to this great start, I'll have to search it out and read it.
