Bluetit and blossom

I recently won a trio of really beautiful bird stamps from the Crafty Individuals blog. Naturally they provided lots of inspiration in the form of the beautifully arty designs they are well known for,  but I decided for their first airing I should use each one in a very CAS way to get a feel for the beauty of the image. And I used the RSPB Handbook of British Birds to get my colouring as accurate as possible.


Here is the first, a blue tit on a sprig of blossom, coloured with pencils. I pencilled a very faint background around the image and softened it with a blending stump.
