A pair of same-but-different very CAS cards today.
I used the old classic Cuttlebug butterfly die to cut a mask from very thin paper (It needs to be thin to get clean edges and a full sized image - thicker paper or card means you might lose the antennae) and then used an assortment of flower and leaf peg stamps to fill the masked shape completely so that when i removed the mask there was a clear butterfly image. I tried a couple of different arrangements of butterfly and sentiment.
I am sharing these with
AAA Cards (second card only) - sketch
Addicted to stamps and more - CAS
Butterfly challenge - Butterfly & the single element, flowers
Less is More - one layer, buds or petals
Sparkles Monthly - Flowers or religious
Two beautiful cards Jane, a great way to use these stamps they've made gorgeous butterflies.

ReplyDeleteThat's brilliant Jane. These are stunning. Heres me thinking I needed to ask what butterfly stamp it was. Such a great idea yo use the peg stamps which I do have rather a lot of. Thankyou for coming and spinning the butterfly wheel with me this week. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a day of sunshine too Jane, but I'm not very hopeful - rain is on its way! Beautiful card, love the floral butterflies. Thanks so much for playing at AAA Cards, hoping you’ll join us for future challenges. And maybe come visit our new sister challenge AAA Birthday too.
