I'm absolutely delighted that Jo has invited me to be this month's guest designer at Tales From The Craft Room where the theme is Summer Fun.
I have created a beach scene using a selection of the lovely stamps that came with a recent issue of Creative Stamping magazine.
I made a fold-back card and used masking to build up the scene, aligning the stamps so the horizon continued right across the card when fully opened out. I coloured the image with watercolours.
I am sharing this with

Brilliant Cardz Jane. Those stamps are really great aren’t they? Thanks for joining us at Cardz for Galz
ReplyDeleteGreat card, lovely colouring.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous scene Jane, and a great fold too. I struggle stamping anything other than sentiments but you've definitely inspired me to try my hand at stamping scenes! Thanks so much for joining me as Guest Designer this month.

ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, Jane. The scene is so relaxing, perfect for a summer day, and the fold-back gave you plenty of room to fit it all in. Great coloring too. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I'm ready to step into this summery scene; it's that inviting! Your fold-back technique is awe-mazing! So glad to see you in the Just Us Girls gallery!
