Hop to it!

The area where I live used to be well known for hop growing, but over the last 50 years most of the hop gardens had closed, but the small local breweries that they had supplied remained open. Now that craft beers have become fashionable, several of the breweries have increased production and are finding it economically viable to once again grow their own hops, so they are starting to reappear around the local lanes. And of course hop garlands are very popular indoor decorations at this time of year.

Which is a very long winded way of saying I used a hop garland stamp on this card.


I stamped it in brown, using the Misti to position it symmetrically with space for the sentiment, then coloured it with pencils.
