Pirate Queen

Pirates don't have to be boys!


For this card I used a Clearly Besotted stamp set for the pirate girl,  parrot and treasure chest and coloured them with promarkers.  I stamped a sentiment from the same set and embosses it with white detail powder, then cut everything out.

I made a "ship's porthole" using circle die-cut waste as a stencil, then cutting cloud shapes from scrap paper and using them as masks, sponging blue ink around them,  and added a "floor" of lightly smudged grey pencil.
