Hello

As you know, I like to work with CDs sometimes, but I've never mastered the art of printing out just the right amount of a page for the card I'm making, so end up with quite a lot of CD snippets, which I tuck into a large plastic wallet, separate from my "real" snippets box, and then promptly forget about. I decided it was time to do something about that, so for this card I've combined papers from my CD snippets folder with card scraps from my snippets box.

The papers were printed from a Funky Hands CD. They've been hanging around for several years now but I think the CD  was V.Funky. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a Spellbinders nesting label die then layered it on the next size die cut in black. The flowers are cut with a First Edition layering die and the leaves with the die from the last Indigo Blu kit.

I'm sharing this with

  1. A great card made from 'scraps' Jane. I write the name of the CD on the back of any left over papers as there's no way I'd remember.

  2. What a stunning card Jane - I love the colours as well as the combination of modern along with the slightly fancy label and the pretty floral element. So pleasing on the eye and a design just perfect for snippets.

  3. I love this happy-go-lucky card! It just makes me smile! I don't know what CD's are (as you refer to them -- I know CD's that you put in a CD player!)

  4. I love this, the bright colours and the pretty flowers. What a great way to use up scraps. I need to adopt Pamelas idea and write on the back where they're printed from!

  8. I saw this in Di's Playground and had to come look at it. I really like the combo of the simple modern prints with the more ornate dies -- you seem to have the perfect proportion of each.
