You could be forgiven for thinking that I have a bit of an obsession with autumn leaves, and if you looked through my collection of rubberstamps and the colours of my inkpads, your suspicions would be confirmed. But really, how could I NOT have when they make the garden look as beautiful as this?
This time I have used a double sided stamp. One side stamps the leaf and the other the veins. For the leaf, I used a very old Adirondack rainbow pad, Cabin Fever, that is so old the colours have more or less merged, giving a very subtle variation in shade that is really useful at this time of year! The veins are embossed with an ultra-fine gold embossing powder. To give the card texture and interest without adding any more layers, I embossed just the right hand side of the front with a Darice Autumn Leaves embossing folder.
