This week the challenge at Less is More is Little Creatures and Addicted to CAS it is Vellum. I'm off to spend a week with my Mum tomorrow and will have no crafting goodies with me and very little internet access, so I wanted to make a quick card that would work for both challenges.
I'd spotted this tiny bee stamp when I was sorting out a box of neglected stamps the other day - I've had it for years and I think it came from an American company called Raindrops on Roses. I've got lots of odds and ends of vellum but I hardly ever use it. The blue and green I've used for the grass and sky were actually card inserts, with a printed greeting on them (I've used the greeting from one piece inside the card). The "right" side is smooth and shiny, but the "wrong" side has little ridges that I think gives more interest to the card. I'd run out of specialist vellum adhesive so I put everything through the Xyron to give it an even layer of adhesive so that there would be no "glue lines"
Lovely card. Hugs, Ankie
