Over the last few weeks I've shared makes using some of the lovely dovecraft giant sentiments stamps that I won, and here is another. This time the sentiment is Thank You and there really isn't room for much else on an A6 sized card.
I stamped it in a delicate blue ink, then added some twine in pink, yellow and blue and an embellishment made by cutting two flowers (the die is from the Spellbinders Jewel Flowers set) from a scrap of blue Kanban text print card and adding a pink gem to the centre.

Beautiful design Jane and love your big and bold sentiment. The flower head perhaps isn't as pastel as we'd have liked but maybe that's the photo creating a darker look. Your twine fits the bill for the challenge brilliantly though and thanks for sharing with us at Less is More this week.
ReplyDeleteA lovely card Jane, showing dark on my screen too but looking so elegant and very gorgeous with that pop of colour in the twine and the big, scripty sentiment. Love it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
ReplyDeleteA lovely CAS card Jane. Your flower is the perfect embellishment.
ReplyDeleteGlad you joined us at CRAFT this week.

What a lovely way to embellish a big, bold, scripty sentiment! I love the softness that the pastel blue lends to the sentiment, and the pop of additional colour from the twine and bloom finishes it off beautifully. So glad you could join us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteA perfect design to let that beautiful, bold sentiment take center stage! Thanks for playing along with us at CASology this week, Jane!
