Yesterday I made a Brusho background using purple and two shades of green sprinkled onto wet heavyweight watercolour paper. I left it to dry overnight ready to play with today.
The butterfly stamp I used is an Indigo Blu one that I've had for about 5 years. I stamped it onto the brusho background several times to take advantage of the different coloured patches formed by the brushos, then fussy cut all of the images.
This is the second card I have made with the butterflies.
I used a pre-cut aperture card that's been lurking in my stash for years. It's only a single fold card so I backed the untidy bits on the inside after assembling the card with a piece of matching card. The paper that I have placed inside the aperture is the kitchen roll that I blotted the original sheet of brusho background with.
I stamped a "wiry words" sentiment and added the butterfly and a couple of gems.
I am sharing this with
