Brusho Butterflies #3

Yesterday I made a brusho background using purple and two shades of green sprinkled onto wet heavyweight watercolour paper. I left it to dry overnight ready to play with today.
The butterfly stamp I used is an Indigo Blu one that I've had for about 5 years. I stamped it onto the brusho background several times to take advantage of  the different coloured patches formed by the brushos, then fussy cut all of the images.

Here is the third, and final, card that I made with the butterflies - scroll back to my previous two posts to see the other two.

I taped a stencil to a snippet of purple card and sprayed with bleach - my favourite medium to spray with! I love the fact that you never know how each different card is going to react. This one took the bleach really well and gave a good contrast between the bleached area and that protected by the stencil.

When the bleach was dry, I stamped a wiry words sentiment on it then matted it with a snippet of jade green card.

I fussy cut the butterflies - I'd kept back the two with most purple on them for this card and didn't cut around the antennae as they weren't likely to show so much against the dark background, then attached them with 3-D adhesive.

I am sharing this with
