Today my daughter Emma, of Mellow Mummy, is celebrating her birthday (a day at work followed by a long training run, that girl really knows how to party!). It has become a family tradition that every year I make her a sunflower-themed card, and here is this year's:
I used my Hougie board to measure, cut and fold the stepper card, covering the panels with yellow gingham and plain green papers from my stash, all inked around the edges to give a rustic effect. The glittered sunflower and butterfly stickers were part of the super prize I recently won from CD Sundays and the greeting is stamped. Both the main sunflower panel and greeting are matted onto glitter card - I scraped off the glitter from the central area of the card, using a Stanley knife, to give the adhesive a decent chance of holding on!

This is wonderful Jane. Those sunflowers remind me of my recent hioliday in France where there were fields and fields of sunflowers. Thank you for sharing it with us at OLL challenges. Glad you've found your recent prize at CD Sunday useful too. Wynn Dat
