A stamp is for life, not just for Christmas...

The stamp I've used for this card is very much NOT a Christmas stamp, but I've often wondered whether it would work as one if coloured in suitably festive colours. I reckon with the addition of a Christmas sentiment and some bling, it just about works! The wreath stamp is a very, very old Stampendous stamp called Rose Ring, which I coloured with Promarkers, and stamped words from a Uniko Christmas sentiment set in the centre.

I am sharing this with

I agree just because a stamp is not for Christmas in this case it works well and makes a lovely card

I think it works beautifully! How nice to find new applications for old favourites. The black background (is the great texture from the paper itself?) is very striking! Thanks for joining in with the 52CCT.

I must admit, when I read the first part of the first sentence, I wondered how 'Merry Christmas' was not a Christmas stamp. Then I realised you meant the wreath! LOL! You're right though, the wreath coloured in red and green is perfect as a Christmas wreath. It's a really lovely card. xx

It really does work and looks very festive. Love it in the red and green and the bit of bling. Thanks for joining in at 52CCT and being inventive.

This works perfectly as a Christmas card! Love your wreath of flowers and the textured background with the bits of bling in the corners. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
