Spotlighting at Back to Basics

Our 6th challenge is starting now at Back to Basics and this time our theme is spotlighting. This is where you stamp a large image in a single colour  and just colour a part of it, often added as a raised layer over the original.

Spotlight Technique

Tutorial  - You Tube Here

It's not a technique I have ever used before and I found it hard to choose a suitable stamp, but digging around some of my older stash I found this lovely Crafty Individuals stamp and chose to spotlight one of the butterfly quadrants. There's so much going on in the image that I thought it best to keep the rest of the card very, very simple with just a small sentiment and no other embellishment.

I am sharing this with Crafty Creations Challenge - Anything Goes
