Today I've been having fun with one of my all time favourite stamp sets - Woodware's Jungle Pals. I wouldn't like to hazard a guess at how many years it's been in my collection or how many times I've used it, but those cheeky little animal faces never fail to make me smile.
This time I stamped the monkey twice with Versafine Black Onyx, heat embossing him with clear powder, and stamped and heat embosses the leaf and banana onto some snippets of green and yellow card. I also used a punch, I think it's also made by Woodware, to punch some leaves from the green snippets and used a white gel pen to add veins to the leaves.
I used the face, paws and one leaf of one image to add dimension to the other, sandwiching a banana between the two layers of each paw. Then I scattered a couple more bananas around the card - I can't quite decide whether he is catching bananas that are being thrown to him, or throwing them away himself!
Whichever it is, he's certainly a cheeky monkey!
