I've made this card for the current challenge at Less is More, which is One layer- Cute.
I'm not a huge fan of cute, and don't have many suitable stamps, but I do love these dinosaur stamps from Clearly Besotted. I usually colour them in with Promarkers, but they show through on the back so are not really good for one layer fans, so I coloured my design - stamped using lots of masking - using the new pencils I got from Santa, but as you can see, I really need a lot more practise with them!

Great card Jane, and I bet that was a ton of masking as well. A tip, and it certainly used to be fine with Less is More, cover the back of the card front with a slightly smaller piece of matching card once you've done any pro marker colouring to hide the bleed through. The front still counts as one layer and it does open up your colouring options. Depending what your pencils are, I swear by Sansodor fluid for blending and taking away pencil strokes. But, I love this card just as it is anyhow!

Smashing make, great idea to mask off the panel and colour. I do LOVE my pencils these days and I am sure you wll too ... Like Di, I use Sansodor mineral oil and a paper stump though it's not everyone's cup of tea

Well I think this is adorable. And I love the look of your pencil coloring skillz too! Great masking also! I heard that you can use regular baby oil too, but I've not tried that yet.
Brilliant card for a child, love your design
A super card Jane, you have created a lovely little scene.

Love the cute scene you have created, a tip I read on Sarah's blog one of Less is More dt (Sazzle Dazzle) is once you have created your one layer card and entered your challenge remount your card front onto another blank so you then have a usable/sendable card with no ink showing ;)

A really sweet card and I love the sentiment. Barbxx
So sweet. Thanks for sharing at Less is More!
This is adorable, I think I have this stamp set in my NBUS pile #embarrased. I think your pencil colouring is coming along great, like you I'm still learning with mine x
Great masking, Jane. Fab choice of stamp set, I can't believe I've still not inked this one up! (along with a few others that I just had to have - lol!)
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
