Up, Up and Away at CD Sundays

It's new challenge day again at CD Sundays and our theme this fortnight is Up, Up and Away.

I've used an image and paper from a fairly old Joanna Sheen CD called Victorian Birthdays and made it into a masculine card with die cuts and Candi. The sentiment and banner dies are both from Dovecraft  - and since I inlaid the stars, I now have enough bits and pieces left to make the banners again but with the colours reversed.

I am sharing this with Watercooler Wednesday - Occasions

That machine looks very fragile! I love the combination of colours you've used Jane - another great card.

I love this card! I love the design of it, and the colours all go so well together. The image makes me grateful for our planes today!

Have a good weekend :)

A real old fashioned plane made with wood frame and fabric.
A great card for a male, I'm glad the planes we travel in today are not as flimsy as that one

I love the colour contrast on this card. Not sure I would dare to fly in that plane though!

Stunning card, Jane! I love the image of the bi-plane. What makes this card spectacular is the way you've pulled all those lovely colours into the rest of the card. Love the background paper and those cute banners (nice to have extras all ready for use in reverse). Love the band and die-cut sentiment. This is so bright and happy, anyone would be thrilled to receive this! Thanks so much for joining us for our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

This is a great male card Jane. I wouldn't have thought to put those colours together but they go so well. Love the extra details too.
