It's the very last challenge over at Naughty or Nice - which makes me very sad - and this month we can choose any previous challenge.
I chose challenge 37 - Feature a Creature
And I thought it would be highly appropriate if I CASEd my own entry for that original challenge. This is the card I made first time around
And here is my new take on it, using the same cat stamp and ribbon and incorporating corrugated card again
This time I masked a narrow border around the edge of the die cut and stamped the cat, from Katzelkraft's "Les Chats Russes" set, then masked him and stamped the Indigo Blu silhouette border and sponged the sky over a second mask of scrap paper. The sentiment is a Dylusions one from the "Ugh - people!" set and the butterfly cut with First Edition layering butterfly dies.
I've just noticed that Grumpy Cat appears to be levitating a bit in among the grass! Maybe the butterfly has inspired him to take up Yogic Flying.

Ha ha ha! What a brilliant idea to case your own card! I love this, Jane, and I think that sentiment should become my new mantra! Thanks for playing along this time, and all the other times, at Naughty or Nice. Thank goodness you are my sistah, so I still get to share in your fabulous sense of humour! I love the idea of Y is for Yogic Flying as a future SoSS Challenge... Jo x
Love this fun card, Jane, super image and brilliant sentiment. Very clever idea to CASE your own card! xx
Love this grumpy cat and your card!
Love your levitating cat! You could enter this one too as you have a Teal butterfy. Hugs Mrs A.
What a fun idea to CASE your NoN card for that challenge! Even better since it's grumpy cat. :P Great design of this new card, love it! (I may now have to CASE you by CASEing a former NoN card of mine for my reminder card...) Thanks for playing along in the very last Naughty or Nice Challenge! (Feel free to play along again before the month is out!)
How fun, Jane! I love the idea that you CASEd your own self and I really love your new updated version! That's a perfect sediment for the ol' grumpy cat!! I've also enjoyed scrolling through your many posts of Saturday! What a wonderful array of excellent productivity while the wash did its thing! Safe travels wherever you travel next!! Hugs, Darnell
I love all the different sentiment stamps you have, where do you come across them all? I googled the brand name you used on this card and just ordered myself a set of fairly snarky comments which I love!
What a fun card, and great sentiments. Fantastic scene. I love grumpy cat.
A super card Jane and I know the feeling! Barbxx
Hahahaha LOVE it, what a fab sentiment! It has always been great to see your creations at Naughty or Nice :)
You've done that grumpy cat proud. TWICE!! Love both versions!
