Here's another card made with a stamp from the beautiful Artists Baubles set from Chocolate Baroque. This time the artist who inspired the image is Gustav Klimt.
I stamped and heat embossed in gold to get that Klimt look, then coloured it with watercolour markers. I made an A6 card blank from gold mirri then delved in the snippets box for card that matched the image. I embossed the yellow card using a very old Cuttlebug folder, then stamped and cut out the sentiment from the middle of the red before using the rest of it to mat the yellow card.

Hi Jane
What a great card, inspired by Klimt. Love that swirly embossing folder, old though it may be!
I'm standing in for Miss Di on the commenting front while she's recovering from her fall. so come and visit the Playground Tree House for some mischief. She can't easily climb the ladder at present!
Thanks for playing in the Snippets Playground.
Hugs from the Snippets Head Prefect. x
Reading Sarn's comment - I certainly can't climb a ladder - but I could take it away and leave you marooned up there! What a scamp she is! I'll try and return - once I finish commenting on Challenge 410. Di xx
I can totally see the Klimt inspiration in this! Well done! Great job pairing your embossed background and your whirls in the image. Nice. Thanks for joining us at Use Your Stuff and hope to see you again soon.

Great snippets card Jane - made in perfect Klimt style as well. His paintings sell for millions! Love how you've echoed the swirls between the image and the embossed background. Very nice touch.
Hugs
