Every year I get a new stamp or digi to make their Christmas cards with, usually elf themed, and this year I chose the lovely Elf set and a sentiments sheet from Lily of the Valley's recent releases.
I picked out three different papers from my favourite 12 x 12 stack, DCWV Stack 9, and used Promarkers to colour the images to co-ordinate with the papers. I also chose two reels of gingham ribbon to go with the papers. It's rather strange ribbon as it doesn't have a selvedge, just a raw edge, so if it isn't firmly stuck down it tends to fray, making it completely unsuitable for bows or tags, so I'm having to use it up in cards like this that don't need such fripperies!
Then it was a case of mixing and matching - I used the full set of images on each card, but for each one chose just two of the papers and one of the ribbons and sentiments, varying the layout each time to give me a set of cards that are "the same but different".
I am sharing these with
