My original plan had been to use my brayer to produce an upside down image to be a reflection of the bird in the water below, but the ripples around his legs meant that didn't work very well, so I decided to stamp the image in the centre of the card them mask off a circle around it, colouring it in with blue chalks - I used several shades, with the darker ones towards the edge of the circle, and coloured in the sun with yellow and orange chalks. Then before removing the mask, I sprayed the image with Spray 'n' Shine to fix the chalks and give the image a soft sheen. Unfortunately it's a gloomy day here and the artificial light doesn't show up the shine on the image like sunshine would have done.

This is certainly a great silhouette for our legs challenge. Great circular design too.

This is very 'zen' in feeling! I love the image and the surrounding circle! So glad you joined us at OLS!
This is fabulous. As I look at the entries at Fan-Tastic Tuesday, you deserve the prize. It looks like most everyone didn't understand ONE LAYER. Amazing, huh? Don't look at me...I'm not entering the challenge...it's too difficult for me to do. ;) This card is outstanding and I love how it turned out. Chalk, huh? Gotta get mind out of the drawer it's been hiding...
I had a busy week so I'm just catching up on last week's comments!
