Guest designer at Twofers

I'm over the moon to have been invited to be a guest Designer at the Twofer Card Challenge where this month the theme is Hearts.

If you are not familiar with  this challenge, the task is to use one stamp, die or stencil to create two cards for two different occasions and using two different layouts. I've used a Sizzix heart die for my two cards:

My first card is for Valentine's day. I've made a border across the card with the die cut three times, using 3D adhesive to raise the central one above the other two.

I am sharing this card with Country View Challenges - Love

***

For my second, I've treated the hearts as the leaf-lets of a four leafed clover or a shamrock, so this card would be great either as a good luck card or, if you celebrate St Patrick's Day, a card for that.

I am sharing this with Fab'n'Funky - No Designer Paper

I'm looking forward to seeing what you all create.

Thank you so much for guest designing for us this month, Jane. We're delighted to have you! That heart die is simply gorgeous! All the detail inside is so pretty, and helps to really make it so versatile. Love you you've created a center panel of hearts for your Valentine. Pretty designer paper and ribbon accents, too. And your shamrock card is fabulous!! Love that perfect kelly green, and how you've used black accents to help that green stand out. Two great cards! Bev

We are just as thrilled to have you as one of our Guest Designers, Jane! Thank you! You did a fantastic job representing the challenge concept with your two distinctly different designs! I love your Valentine and the depth you created by popping up the center heart and what a great and unexpected way to use the heart to make a 4-leaf clover for your second design! Clever!! Hugs, Darnell

What a brilliant idea to use that delicate, filigree heart to create that fabulous shamrock, Jane ... the emerald is delicious against the crisp white! Love how you've made the central heart on your Love card dimensional ... it really pops against the others! Thanks so much for inspiring our players so wonderfully as our Guest Designer at Twofer! Anita :)
