Simple sympathy

I think simplicity and elegance are important in a sympathy card, so clean and simple styles are perfect for them.

For this card I have used a very old Artylicious fern stamp, which I stamped three times at different angles to form a spray. A simple stamped sentiment and a matching purple mat were all that was needed to complete the card.

Simple and very effective sympathy card, they are not easiest to make and certainly not a good occasion to send a card.
I love this leaf design

So very elegant. The colours look lovely together. Our internet service supplier has finally agreed to send an engineer out to see what's what or what's niot as the case may be. Hopefully he can sort the problem out once for all as it has been going on now for 4 yrs. still waiting to hear if BT. Are going to charge us for fixing out phone line which was 3 faults. Two their side of the wire and one ours as inside the house. The technician said he would file a report not holding my breath on it. Hugs Mrs A.

Tis is a stunning card Jane and you are so right - simple, clean and elegant work so well for sympathy cards. You have got every element perfectly on this card. I love the image of the fern as the leaves are so delicate - kind of like life is. Thank you so much for sharing this with us at Less is More xx

This is such a fab "take three" make and in such a great colour too - who could fail to appreciate the thought behind it

I love the detail on the fern images, and great that you've chosen the soft purple shade too. Simple and perfect for the occasion. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
